Got unused (but older) cards, gift bags, or scraps of cardstock paper? Upcycle and reuse to create a new homemade card.
Here is an upcycled card by Angie. We found an old giftbag that had the words in gold, “You Are Magical!” on it with a unicorn image printed on it. She cut out and glued the phrase on the front of the card. She then used a star punch to to cut out 6 stars. She added a “Happy Birthday” sticker.
On the inside of the card, she glued more stars, two bright pink hearts, and the unicorn design. Upcycling is a great way to practice card making and to make something new out of the unused.
